Virtual Assembly: Inclusion in the Early Years: Why, What, and How

April 20, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We are thrilled to announce Rosetta Lee as our speaker for this year’s virtual assembly!

Folk wisdom tells us young children don’t notice differences or have any biases, yet research is telling us otherwise. What are age appropriate ways to develop intentionally inclusive and identity conscious children? Rosetta will also discuss how we can utilize the Ethnic Studies Concept Development guide developed by JSIS staff.

Rosetta Lee is an educator and professional outreach specialist. She designs and delivers trainings for school communities, as well as local and national nonprofit/educational sectors such as City Year and Sesame Street.

All JSIS caregivers, staff, and community are invited! Though Rosetta will be speaking mainly to the adults, this is a family-friendly event and kids of all ages are welcome.

Link to the Zoom meeting will be shared via eNews.
